Dear Pittsfield Community,
It is with great pleasure and excitement that I write this letter of introduction as the new Principal of Pittsfield Elementary School. I feel extremely privileged to join this dedicated and supportive team of staff, families and students.
What makes our community so unique and special is the wide array of identities that walk through our front doors each and every day. Pittsfield is not just a place of teachers and students - it is a community of learners and leaders. I believe that developing strong relationships and setting clear expectations that are reflective and celebratory of our identities are key components in ensuring our students' success and safety. These ideals will always be at the forefront of how I help to support our staff, students and families.
I also believe the partnership between home and school inspires confidence in students to use their skills and abilities to shape their future and the future of our community and world. During the course of this year, it is my hope that we will work together to provide our students the best opportunities. As Principal, my door is always open and I welcome your conversation and collaboration throughout the year. I look forward to celebrating our collective successes during the 2024-2025 school year.
