PTO Meetings
PTO Meetings are on the 2nd Tuesday of the Month in the library (barring scheduling conflict). Dinner is served at 5:30 p.m., with the meeting from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Childcare is provided for school-aged children during the meeting time. If you plan to use the available childcare, please review our childcare information and behavior expectations with your children. Each meeting includes an update from the principal, budget overview, event planning, and open discussion.

Special Events
The Pittsfield PTO sponsors a number of fun events throughout the school year intended to strengthen our Pittsfield community. These include events put together by our volunteers and staff. In the past we have enjoyed movie nights, an ice cream social, glow night, winter dances, family engagement nights, etc. Can you help us put on any of these special events? Please reach out to president@pittsfieldpto.com or come to a PTO meeting if you have an idea for a fun event that can help grow our community.
Upcoming Events:
Teacher Appreciation Event: March 25th
Wednesday, March 25th, 8:15 to 8:50 am. Join us as we cheer for our teachers and show them some love as they come in for the day. We will have some signs, but feel free to bring something festive of your own!
Girls on the Run: Starts mid-March
Looking for a fun, healthy activity for your upper elementary student this spring? Girls on the Run is beginning at Pittsfield this March!
Girls on the Run inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, research-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. Meeting twice a week in small teams, trained and caring coaches teach 3rd-5th grade girls life skills through dynamic lessons and physical activity. We'll begin in mid-March and the season concludes with a celebratory 5K event on May 9th. Completing the 5K gives the participants a tangible understanding of the confidence that comes through accomplishment as well as a framework for setting and achieving life goals. This positive youth development program promotes critical social-emotional skills at a time when girls need it the most! You can register your child at https://www.
4th/5th Grade Dance: April 10th
All Pittsfield 4th and 5th grade students are invited to our annual spring dance!
Enjoy DJ Eaze, Cotton Candy (and other cheap concessions), a chill room when you need a break from the dancing and more. Dress up or don't! Whatever feels meaningful for you. Thank you for all the song suggestions, they are being passed onto our DJ. All students must be signed in with an accompanying adult.
