PTO Meetings

PTO Meetings are on the 2nd Tuesday of the Month in the library (barring scheduling conflict). Dinner is served at 5:30 p.m., with the meeting from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Childcare is provided for school-aged children during the meeting time. If you plan to use the available childcare, please review our childcare information and behavior expectations with your children. Each meeting includes an update from the principal, budget overview, event planning, and open discussion.

Special Events

The Pittsfield PTO sponsors a number of fun events throughout the school year intended to strengthen our Pittsfield community.  These include events put together by our volunteers and staff.  In the past we have enjoyed movie nights, an ice cream social, glow night, winter dances, family engagement nights, etc.  Can you help us put on any of these special events?  Please reach out to president@pittsfieldpto.com or come to a PTO meeting if you have an idea for a fun event that can help grow our community.

Popcorn Fridays

Popcorn Fridays are back! Happening most Fridays in January, February, and March. Our first one is on January 9th. We can't pull this off without your support - we need both donations and volunteers. Sign up today!

 

Science Olympiad Open House

Families of 2nd to 5th graders can join us for a Science Olympian Open House on Friday, January 16th at Pittsfield from 5 to 6 PM to try some of the events.

 

Free Community Swap: Saturday, January 17^th, 2025

Give your unwanted items a new home instead of sending them to a landfill and find something you’ve been looking for without having to buy it. See the list of Accepted donations or download the flyer (English or Spanish) for more info!

Shop for items from 11 AM to 2 PM

Volunteer to help with accepting or sorting donations, set-up or clean-up!

 

Family Movie Night: Friday, January 30^th, 2025

This is a free event for all of our Pre-K through 3rd grade students and their families. Doors open at 5:30, movie starts at 6:00pm. All attendees will receive a free popcorn and water/juice box. Pizza and snacks available for purchase. Families may choose to bring their own food/drinks if they prefer. Movie TBD! Families are expected to stay together during the event and adults are responsible for the children they bring to the event. Volunteer or Donate to help make this night a success! 

 

Past Events:

October 16, 2025: Color Run.

Thank you to everyone who supported our Color Run by donating, spreading the word, or volunteering! We exceeded our goal and will be giving out prizes over the next few weeks. We earned a visit from KONA ice truck and a Mystery Bonus Prize! The run was so much fun and the funds raised will go towards PTO work throughout the year, such as teacher grants, fun events like our Ice Cream Social, snacks for the classrooms, and more. Thank you for helping make our school such a wonderful place to be.
