PTO Fundraising Opportunities

The Pittsfield PTO provides tens of thousands of dollars of financial support to Pittsfield students and teachers each year. These funds enhance the learning environment at Pittsfield by:

• • Supporting teachers and staff in acquiring the supplies they need to help students learn. Staff use the funds to purchase a variety of items they need, including basic items like folders, pencils, paper, craft supplies, tissues, disinfecting wipes, snacks, and books, plus special items like projectors, chairs, shelving/organization units, and more. These items are not provided by the school district and otherwise come out of teachers’ own pockets.
  • Covering 100% of field trip fees and transportation, which would otherwise be passed along to families.
  • Hosting school assemblies.
  • Addressing school-wide needs by creating and stocking a snack closet and keeping the Care Closet full of personal care items, spare clothing, and winter clothing.
  • Supporting school-sponsored events and putting on PTO-sponsored fun, affordable events for the school community.

Fundraising is essential to continue the PTO's mission to support and enhance learning at Pittsfield Elementary School. Your support of these programs directly impacts the academic experience of our students. Thank you for taking an active role in our fundraising activities and programs!

COLOR RUN

Thank you to everyone who supported our Color Run by donating, spreading the word, or volunteering! We exceeded our goal and will be giving out prizes over the next few weeks. We earned a visit from KONA ice truck and a Mystery Bonus Prize! The run was so much fun and the funds raised will go towards PTO work throughout the year, such as teacher grants, fun events like our Ice Cream Social, snacks for the classrooms, and more. Thank you for helping make our school such a wonderful place to be.

RESTAURANT NIGHTS

Throughout the school year, the PTO will hold fundraising events at area restaurants where a portion of the sales benefits the PTO. These are win-win-win events: Feed your family, connect with other families in the school community, and support the PTO! Watch for reminders in our communications and on our Facebook page.

On the day of the fundraiser from 4-8 pm, mention Pittsfield PTO when you order in-store. You can also order online at noodles.com/order and enter code GIVING25 at checkout. 25% of qualified sales will directly benefit the Pittsfield PTO.

Family Assistance Fund

The PTO has a special Family Support Fund that provides gift cards to families who need a little extra for clothing, groceries, gas, and other basic needs. If you would like to donate to this fund, please include "Family Assistance Fund" in the notes of your payment or check.
