PTO Board

The PTO is led by a board of parent and teacher volunteers. We generally meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month (full schedule below) from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the Library.  Before each meeting we provide a light dinner for you and your children.  Kids then join two staff members for some outside or indoor playtime.  The PTO meeting begins with a brief school update by our principal, Heather Miller.  The meetings are open to our Pittsfield School community and we encourage all parents and caregivers with a desire to be involved in their child's school to attend the meetings. Please consider joining us at our next meeting where your comments, concerns, and ideas are truly welcome!

To specifically request time on the agenda, please contact the PTO president at president@pittsfieldpto.com, but know that there is space at every meeting for open discussion. Bring your ideas, questions, and concerns. Please feel free to volunteer to help out this year!

What can you expect from these meetings?

• Monthly updates from our principal and teachers.
• Information on upcoming fundraisers or PTO sponsored events, and the opportunity to help with planning.
• Discussion of questions or issues raised by parents.
• An update on how we are spending the PTO budget.
• Great people! We have wonderful parents at this school, join us and meet some of the school community!
• Dinner and childcare for Pittsfield students. Dinner starts at 5:30 and the meeting begins promptly at 6:00.
